My name is Jimey Grant. I am a Christian writer, journalist, and United States Army veteran from Lafayette, Louisiana. After receiving an honorable discharge from the Army, I carried the discipline, precision, and strategic thinking of a soldier into a new mission field — the written word.
I was born and raised on the Northside of Lafayette, and my voice was forged at the intersection of personal faith, community reality, and years of deep biblical study. It was through that study that my calling as a writer came alive — not in a classroom, but in the quiet intensity of scripture, research, and a relentless pursuit of truth. My personal faith journey, the lessons of military service, and an intimate understanding of what my community needs all converge in everything I write.
I founded The Remnant Chronicles with one mission: to equip believers with doctrinal clarity and spiritual discernment. My chronicles challenge shallow religion, expose the systems and agendas working against the people of God, and call readers into a deeper, more disciplined walk with Christ. I write for anyone — regardless of background, denomination, or tradition — who refuses to accept a surface-level faith in a world that demands something deeper.
When I am not writing, you can find me under a tree in a quiet park, settled into a corner of my second home — the library — or at a café with an iced caramel macchiato and a fruit cup, turning revelation into research.
